Asset Recovery & Civil Fraud
Campbells’ specialist fraud and asset recovery team is a market leader in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands. We bring and defend complex fraud claims and are known for our ability to take decisive, urgent action to identify, preserve and recover assets both onshore and across multiple jurisdictions. We also have deep experience in claims arising out of financial fraud, white collar crime, economic sanctions and government corruption involving offshore entities and assets.
Fraud is a global issue that demands a global response. With over 50 years of experience acting on high-value, complex cross-border fraud cases, we have built an unrivalled network of relationships with leading fraud and asset recovery law firms, forensic accountants and advisory firms worldwide. When fraud is detected, we mobilise immediately – coordinating with trusted partners across jurisdictions to prevent the proceeds of fraud from being dissipated.
We deliver innovative, effective and commercially focused solutions to the complex challenges posed by global fraud, and our track record of recovering assets for clients over several decades speaks for itself. Where appropriate, recovery efforts are combined with criminal or civil proceedings against the perpetrators and those who facilitated the fraud. Our experienced advocates are ready to move at short notice to obtain emergency relief from the court to protect our clients’ interests.
