Campbells, in partnership with the Cayman Islands Association of Mediators and Arbitrators, (CIAMA) will be hosting a seminar on The Role of Insurers in Mediation of Disputes.
In many disputes one or more parties are insured, whether it is a construction dispute, road traffic accident, professional negligence or directors claim. This can complicate matters during the course of litigation and, in turn, when attempts are being made to settle via mediation. This seminar will look at the mediation process generally with a particular emphasis on what role an insurer might play in a mediation.
