Laetitia began her career in the field of Entomology and possesses a BSc in Biology and MSc in Pest Management (Applied Entomology). She also received a PhD in Entomology in 2002 from Imperial College London. Laetitia first moved to Cayman in 2003 and took up the post of Senior Research Assistant with the Mosquito Research and Control Unit. She later met and married Eric Bush in 2008 and decided to make Cayman her permanent home.
Laetitia began working with Campbells in January 2012 and, not being one to back away from a challenge, decided to simultaneously pursue a law conversion course. “When I completed my PhD I thought my days of studying were over. How wrong I was! One thing I have learnt is, in life, you must always keep an open mind. I am delighted to be on this new career path and am grateful to the partners of Campbells for recognising my potential and offering me this opportunity,” says Dr. Bush.
“We are very proud of Laetitia’s accomplishments,’’ says Ross McDonough, Managing Partner and Head of Litigation at Campbells. He adds, “Laetitia is a very determined and driven individual with a very promising career ahead of her in the field of law. She is a valued asset to the firm and we look forward to her being called to the Cayman bar in due course and her continuing legal career with Campbells.”
