Campbells is pleased to announce that Jae Hodge, a recipient of the firm’s British Virgin Islands scholarship, is set to commence law school later this year.
Jae was awarded the Campbells BVI Scholarship in 2021 while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She has since completed her undergraduate studies, during which she developed a strong interest in the law, culminating in a legal-focused thesis.
As part of the scholarship programme, Jae has undertaken annual internships with Campbells since 2022, gaining practical experience in litigation and legal procedures. She credits the firm’s mentorship and training as instrumental in shaping her decision to pursue a legal career.
Reflecting on her journey, Jae said, “Interning at Campbells has deepened my passion for law and given me hands-on exposure to the realities of legal practice, from trials to client interactions. The experience continues to provide me with new skills and valuable support as I head to law school. I feel truly welcomed by the firm’s warm culture, which has made this journey all the more rewarding.”
“Jae has consistently demonstrated strong potential, professionalism and a genuine interest in legal practice,” said Mark Goodman, Partner at Campbells. “We are proud to support her academic and professional development and look forward to seeing her continued growth as she embarks on the next stage of her legal education.”
Campbells remains committed to investing in the next generation of legal professionals through its longstanding scholarship and internship initiatives across the BVI and wider region.
